The primary picture is of Corinne and I infront of the Great Torii at Miyajima near Hiroshima.

I am mainly active on 40m phone.

I am now retired after working for Cambridge Consultants Ltd as an Analogue Electronics Engineer for 38.5 years

I was a keen SWL in my teenage years when living with my parents and sister in Croxley Green near Watford. Originally licensed as G8OWP. I took my morse test at Mablethorpe costal radio station too many years ago to remember. I was active on 15m and 10m FM but have only got back to Amateur radio after about a 20 year break.

Apart from 40m phone I also operate an Ultimate 3 WSPR beacon and sometimes a Peaberry SDR for WSPR tx and rx.

I am a member of the RSGB.

Me with my xyl Corinne on Mainau, 'The flower island', on Lake Constance.

2 element Moxon beam for 15m.  The aluminium pole supports one end of a 40m dipole with skeleton 20m passive element enabling me to work both bands

12m 2 element yagi (Driven element and director) on an 'old' (me) rotator :)

My Ultimate 3 with 12V 7AH SLA battery.

Used for WSPR transmissions.

Mosley 12AVQ with 2 radials for 20m.

The 12AVQ is in the hole where the Rotary washing line goes :)
