Licensed in 1981 - passed the Morse test during the same year (Gosh it seems a long time ago) - Bands 80m - 4m,  6m is interesting when its open with quickfire exchanges, due to E's.

Prefer CW, but SSB can be fun with the odd burst of Jt or HELL + some portable operation which can be challenging especially when it comes to erecting antennas.

I still collect cards, so always pleased to receive them - E-Qsl more convenient -  Why not try E-mailing Qsl cards direct, ? saves on postage !! then you still get a personalised card for your collection, looking forward to it !!

Was a member of the Portsmouth and District Amateur Radio Society back in the 80's but these days am an active member of FPARC  the local Fort Purbrook Amateur Radio Club based on Portsdown Hill to the north of Portsmouth, our call is G3CNO (re-issued in 2014) which originally belonged to the active and popular local amateur "Joe" Cake who lived in southsea, famed for his caravan exploits into the Highlands, we often arranged "skeds" either on 40 or 80m - he also founded the original "Portsmouth Net" on 40m which still runs . . .also an original member of the RNARS.
