I passed the RAE in 1994 to obtain my 'B' Callsign which has upgraded to an 'A' since the Morse/CW requirement was removed. My Wife Ebony is 2E1HLF but never goes near a mic.

I use HF, VHF and UHF with 20M and 10M my favorite bands whilst waffling on the local repeaters. Cambridgeshire is lucky with repeater choice thanks to the Cambridgeshire Repeater Group : http://www.cambridgerepeaters.net/

My new found interest is the digital modes Fusion, D-star and DMR with a Yaesu FTM100D, Icom 5100 and TYT MD380. I am a bit late to the party as lots of local Hams have been using D-star for over 10 years now! My access to DStar is via GB7PI and Fusion Via GB7PT repeaters which are 10 miles from me.

My main radios are a Yaesu FT450D, CRE8900, FT736R and FT8500R in the shack with various verticals due to space issues, long front garden but just a tiny back one. On the plus side is that I'm on top of a hill.

Whatever you do enjoy and keep it fun.

If you would like to QSL I will return a card directly.

Thanks for looking,
