Thanks for looking at my page. Licence back in 1971 with home brew on 2m, 70, 23cm later on SSB.

I think i was the first /M hgv driver to be on the band daily, back in 1971 to 1985. With a Liner 2 ssb & Icom IC-240 for FM.

Now run Yaesu FT-8900 QB + CR8900 ant /M.

Home base Kenwood TS-2000X,Yaesu FT-847, Icom IC-910 and Icom IC-202S.

Ant are 5el beam 50 MHz, 5el Powerbeam 70 MHz, 9el m2 144 MHz,

28el m2 432 MHz, 35el m2 on 1296 MHz, 44el Wimo  2320 MHz.

TX Power 50MHz 100W, 70 MHz 40W, 144MHz 100W, 432MHz 75W, 1296MHz 100W and 2320MHz 60W,

The GX4WAB follow the torch crew. We had a 2 stations on the HF bands and 1 working 144 SSB, 145 FM & 432mhz SSB/FM.

Thanks to Robert G8BUN (the clean/tidy with tie) for use of his Garden and radio shack.

 

My Mobile shack mid 70's to late 80's on board was Liner 2 144 10w SSB, Icom IC-240 10w FM & Uniden UA-100 4W UK FM CB.
