QSL Policy - We upload our logs to eQSL which is our preferred method for confirmations.  If you would like a paper QSL, please use the QSL bureau in the first instance.  We are happy to QSL direct upon receipt of a stamped addressed envelope ($$$ sent at own risk) - any cards received without return postage will be returned via the bureau.

About the QTH
The Sandford Mill location offers great HF performance with a low noise-floor and some water to suspend our 80m Doublet across.  Typically, we operate our stations on 40m SSB and 20m CW but band conditions (and the event) may cause this to change!  The operating "shack" is the original 2MT wooden hut used for the early wireless transmissions here in Chelmsford in 1922.  A Yaesu FT-847 sits in the hut alongside a number of historic radio equipment including spark transmitters from the late 1890's and also historic collections from Marconi and other Chelmsford industries. There are also special displays on the New Street factory, ship’s radio officers and the steam yacht Elettra - Marconi’s floating laboratory.
