Sam Lawrie, GM0VWZ.......
Thanks for the visit. Here is some bio.
I don't know how I got here as I had absolutely no interest in radio.
After copious amounts of reading approximately 6 months worth, I gained my class B licence in December 1992 which was promptly followed by my first callsign GM7OJG. With the licensing conditions being different in those days I was limited to UHF - VHF. But after having a great deal of fun on the 2mtrs 70cms bands of a while, I decided to study for the morse, this all went according to plan I passed the test in March 1995 which gained my class A licence again this was promptly followed by my second callsign GM0VWZ.
I am enthusiastic about all aspects of amateur radio, but if I had to single out anything it would be data modes and the 40mtr band especially Worked All Britain.
