The amateur radio station HV5PUL is active since 1997 at the Pontifical Lateran University, in the Vatican City State.

The station is activated during the special events at the University like the Academic Year Opening Day (Dies Accademicus) in October/November or the Lateran Journey at the end of April. It is also activated by IW0DJB, the station manager.

More info on the University at http://www.pul.it

NEW! CHECK THE ON LINE LOG AND THE OQRS  (BUT READ CAREFULLY THE QSL POLICY BEFORE AND DON'T FORGET TO PUT YOUR CALL IN THE REQUEST...) AND VISIT THE NEW WEBSITE WWW.HV5PUL.INFO

IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE ON LINE LOG PLEASE DON'T ASK THE QSL VIA THE OQRS BUT WRITE TO ME BEFORE SENDING ANY REQUEST

LOTW NOTE:  year 2018 is still not loaded on LOTW

Important note about postal rates requested for sending a QSL from HV5PUL from 1 october 2015:

Italy, San Marino, Vatican = 0,95

Europe = 1 €,

America, Africa, Asia = 2,30 €,

Australia, Oceania = 3,00 €

Consider that 2$ are NOT sufficient for America, Asia and Africa and 1$ is NOT sufficient for Italy or Europe.

1 IRC = 0,85 € at Vatican Postal Service

Pay attention to the validity of the IRC's. The old model ends of validity is 31-12-2013 so it will not be accepted by postal service. Use only the new model called Doha.

PSE SASE !

Please don't waste time and money sending multiple letters and requests, simply check the log on line at the bottom of the page and be patient! Don't write for asking if I have received your card because I don't remeber every card I receive!

Please don't send registered mail because I have to go to the post office for pick up the letter and often I have attend to a long line and I have to pay additional money for the post office stop. It is not faster and cheaper than send a normal letter! Prefer the OQRS for a faster reply.

Don't send QSL to HV5PUL via bureau: I don't use the bureau and HV doesn't have a bureau.

Normally I'll reply in a couple of months after receiving your request.

73 and Good DX to all!
