Hello, Thank you very much for taking a moment to look up my (nickname is MIT)call sign.

June 2013, JF1UOW and JF1UOX built a new seaside cottage in Miura City (about 12miles from my home and

about 35 miles south of Tokyo) for Ham radio, Yachting and Resort house.

My Shack is standing on the top of Peninsula   (View from Moroiso-bay which is famous for yacht harbor)

View from the rooftop: West  (You can see Mt.Fuji,  middle of the photo over the sea)

“Shack room” located inside the Miura cottage.                         VERSA Beam KA-1 406 Antenna .

About 50 years ago, Edwin Oldfather Reischauer (United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan) and

his wife (Haru Matsukata)  used to live in this place.

About 65 years ago, Douglas MacArthur (Supreme Commander for the Allied Power) had a cottage at next door.
