Hi, ALL!

I got a license in 1986 and enjoyed the QSO with my friends. There is no twitter and skype in that days, ham radio was a very fun for me, and finally I got the 1st class license. However, I had to shut down the activity for a long time due to the job.  I almost forgot everything about ham, but I encountered the big earth quake in March 2011. No telephone, No elecric power, No water... The information is necessary in such situation. After that, I thought I should start the radio again. So I got a new callsign, JH1RDA in 2013.

[[ HF ]]    I enjoy 40m and 15m CW. I have been using FT-817ND (outpout 5watts). In Jan 2016, I bought IC-7300 (100watts). I hope this QRO give me more chance to have QSO with foreign countries.

[[ D-STAR ]]   ID-31 / ID-51 / ID-51plus2 / ID-5100D + (DVMEGA & Raspberry Pi2 Model B) + (DVMEGA & BlueStack).  Very good device to train English conversation.  Please speak slowly.  Sometime I put these gear on my backpack and go to hiking.  Yes, Pedestrian Mobile is fun!

[Update: Apr/15/2017]  Sakura (cherry blossom) season has come!  My town turns to pink in these days.

[Update: Nov/26/2016]  I visited Mito again!  This time I can see the colored maple leaf here, but there are many leaf falling already.  Maybe I can see more better view last week.  Ummm, it is very difficult to catch the best shot for nature, Ha-ha!  This time, these pictures were taken by iPhone 5.

[Update: Nov/06/2016]  I visit Mito city, 30km south of Hitachi city, and enjoyed walking around lake "Senbako" and Japanese garden "Kairakuen".  Kairakuen was built in 1841 by local load Nariaki Tokugawa.  I expected to see the leaf color changed to yellow or red, but still kept green.  I should come here again!

[Update: Apr/09/2016]  Finally, I can see best condition of Sakura (cherry blossom) today.  Hitachi city runs "Sakura Festival" in the main street.  I hope you like these photos!

I hope to CU on the air!
