My interest in Ham Radio began after I built an "Ocean Hopper" three tube regenerative receiver.  After listening to these guys and reading about them, I just had to become one which I did in 1958 with the call KN0SDP.  I left Ham Radio while I went to college and got interested in girls but returned in the early 1970's after I got married and moved to Denver, CO.  About that time I got my current call.  We moved to Southern California in 1987 and have been here ever since.

I have many interests but my Ham Radio enthusiasms are DXing, Contesting (hard to keep my butt in the chair these days), Rag chewing with buddies in the morning, Satellites, Antennas, Home brewing, most things technical, and maybe in the not too distant future, Moon bounce.

It's been a great hobby and look forward to continuing it for many years in the future.
