First license in 1982 as KA0NUQ while living in Minnesota. Later that year moved to North Dakota upgraded to Tech in '83 then Gen in '84. First radio was a used Heathkit HW-101.

In 1985 I was married then a year later relocated to the the Minneapolis, MN area. There we lived in rental property for several years.

In 1991 we bought our current home where I started putting together my current station. At sometime I passed the Advance and in 2000 I passed the Extra and requested my current call.

The digital modes are my favorite. I'm a casual contester always looking for the new DX. I enjoy station building and hope to start building my retirement station up at the cabin in the next few years.
