SARC hosts 2 hamfests per year; a "winter-fest" at the Marathon NY Civic Center on a Saturday in January; and a summer event at the Cortland County Fairgrounds on the 2nd Saturday in June.VE tests are given at both.

SARC members participate as a group in several contests throughout the year, including the ARRL Field Day, which we work from 4-H Camp Owahta in Solon NY. All hams are invited to join us at the camp for field day activities.

SARC members are active in public service events throughout the summer. We welcome volunteers for these events. See our web site or facebook page for upcoming public service opportunitys.

SARC maintains a repeater on 147.180 + (PL 71.9) serving Cortland and surrounding counties. Other privately owned repeaters in Cortland County include 147.225 + (PL 71.9), which is linked to Auburn {147.000}, Ithaca {146.970}, Syracuse {145.150} and others.There is a repeater on 145.490 - (PL 71.9), and 442.850. If you are south and east of Cortland County try the 147.030 + (PL 71.9) or the 443.150 (PL 71.9)

Regular business meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of  May, June, September, November and December at the Cortland County Fire EMS Training Center, 999 Route 13 in Cortlandville, NY. Talk in and information about changes to this schedule will be announced on 147.180 repeater a few minutes before meeting time.
