Glad you looked me up.
My name is Todd Stanford I’ve been in Ham Radio for over 20 years. My first call was KB4PWH When I went in the United StatesMarine Crop (Simper Fi)in 1986. I let my license expire. Hate I did that!! (The license expire)
So after two wars and some long boat rides and serving my country I’m here back in Ham Radio. My units were HMLA 773 and HMLA 775 and VMO 4. I was a 6088 Air Craft Mechanic I repaired Cobra Helicopters Attack Helicopter and OV-10 Light Armed Reconnaissance Aircraft (LARA) while in the Marines.
So now I’m back in Ham radio the FCC gave me the call sign KJ4HFIthat was ok at first but after I got my general class license I thought K2TOD would be a better fit.
At first CW was the only way I could make any contact (lol) you know that I was a Novice I was OK just 7 wpm but that was in the 80’s.
Now it’s DX-ing, all the digital data modes and light some light Rag chewing on 80, 40 and 20 Meters with some new and old friends.
Ham radio has really change sent the 80’s some good and some not so good but I guess that’s with anything. So please if you hear me please feel free to throw your call I will be listing.
Well 73’s for now I look forward to a QSO soon.
