I use my middle name of LEE on the air.

We have been coming to Aruba for the past 28 years for a few weeks each year.  We love the island and it's people, so in 2016, we found a house to rent, got authorization to operate and stayed for 6 weeks.  This year (2017) we returned to the same house and again brought a rig along and renewed our authorization to operate.  Although you will find me on almost any of the operating modes, the digital modes will be emphasized

This operation is NOT a DXpedition, but an extended vacation and operating is a secondary priority.  I would be happy to arrange skeds with anyone who needs Aruba confirmed on any partiular mode.

The station consists of the amazing IC-7300, SignalLink USB digital interface, and an HP Laptop.  Of course, with the wonderful weather in Aruba, operation is from the outdoor patio.

The antenna farm is a simple one consisting of a 40-10M EFHW from MyAntenna supported as an inverted-Vee with a 28'  MFJ telescoping fiberglass pole.  I did also bring an 80-10M EFHW along and had it up for a few days and made a few Q's, but it was very crudely strung due space limitations.  The trade winds are constant and very strong here on the island but the antenna is holding up very well even though the mast sees constant flexing.

For confirmations, I will be posting log information on LoTW, QRZ and eQSL.  Please NO PAPER CARDS!  Logs on QRZ will be updated frequently, but LoTW and eQSL will be uploaded when we return to the home QTH.
