John (Extra K3NOQ) and my wife Bonnie (General N3EIH) were long-time RV'ers in our Motorhome travelling throughout our great beautiful country.

Our operations now include our Icom IC-7000, Kenwood TS-60, Yaesu FT-980 and 31' vertical (HF) or Halo on VHF/UHF bands.

John is retired P/S 2-way Communications Tech, Md. State Trooper, and Broadcast Engineer, First licensed in 1959. Bonnie (licensed 1986) is also retired, just not from John!

We usually spend winter months in the Texas Hill Country area NW of Austin, the Republic of Texas. At other times, we can be found just about anywhere.

The warmer (?) months will often find us near Trout Creek Pass in Colorado's Park County (9500'), or someplace (hopefully) equally cool as seen in photo below .

John: FCC Commercial GROL licensed, APCO Certified. Member of OFWA,ARRL (V.E.), QRZ, SMIRK, Hambuds, FOP, Elks, and Escapees RV club. No Hablo Espanol, Se Hablo "Jive"
