In 1959, while attending Shaler High School, I was licensed as KN3HZL.  My present call, K3RN, was issued in the spring of 1977, when we lived in Wexford, PA.  While in Wexford, I also had the pleasure and opportunity to enjoy the use of monoband Yagi’s at moderate heights, on 10 through 40.  Wires and phased verticals were utilized on 160 and 80, with a helpful hillside location.

Since 1995, I’ve been horsing around Southern Arizona, in the Tucson area.  CC&R’s restricted at-home antennas, but I do have an R-7 and several wires hidden in our pine trees.

My mini SUV is often decorated with a HAM stick antenna top side, while an IC-706 and a Vibroplex paddle ride inside with me.

Hope to work you again soon.

Bob
