Graduate of the University of Tennessee, served in the U. S. Army for the obligatory 2 years, then hopped into management consulting where I focused on applying information technology to improve the productivity of clients' Logistics operations. Retired at the end of 2000. Enthusiastic motorcycle flat track competitor until I hung up my steel shoe at the end of 2012. Licensed and joined NFARL in 2008. Have served as the club's webmaster since 2009. Operate from home and mobile with Elecraft KX3 - KXPA100 and Yaesu 857d through wire antenna (home) and Hi-Q (mobile). All phone at this point -- some QRP -- little to no digital. Member of NFARL, ARRL, SEDXC, QRP ARCI, NoGA QRP. Hope to see you at one of our meetings or around the bands!
