I live in Bryant, AR. Several years ago I moved from a home and relocated to an apartment. As you can imagine, working the world on HF has been a challenge that just recently I've taken up with the help of a Buddipole Deluxe kit an a couple of 100 watt rigs.
Granted my first Technician's license on 05/29/2002. I first became interested in Amateur Radio when I was a young boy. I recall going over to my brother-in-law's home in Houston, TX where he had a nice Yaesu rig, tower and a beam. We would sit in the shack late at night and I would marvle at the QSOs from other parts of the world he worked. Time has passed and now I have a shack of my own.
It consists of a Kenwood TS-2000, TS590S, and as stated above, a Buddipole Deluxe kit with low band coils that allow me to work down to 80 meters. I also have a Palstar AT-Auto is my tuner if I need to tweak something that the rigs can't tune. It will tune a brick! The tower you see in the picture is the US Tower, HDX-555 behind my old QTH. The rotor is a Yaesu G-2800DXA with the Idiom Press controller. Someday soon I plan on having it all put back up and work QRO again.
DX is a fondness I've working here lately. Chasing the WAS, IOTA and DXCC will be fun during this up swing of the solar cycle 24. You can find me mostly on 20 and 17 meters phone. Also, catch me doing PSK-31.
QSL Information: QSL via ARRL's Log Book or The World (LoTW preferred) or send a card direct to my QTH. Here's my promise to you, "Send me a QSL card and you'll get one back". I return 100%
