I got my novice license KN5VOU  in Arkansas as well as my 'Conditional' class license K5VOU while in engineering school at Fayetteville. Moved to Dallas to work for Texas Instruments in 1965 and later Norvell Associates before founding the company that would become ICOM East and later ICOM America in 1980. Started Encomm, Inc. that same year and was the SANTEC, KDK, THL and Kenpro importer/distributor until 1988 when the dollar, my bank and I all collapsed at the same time. Spent the next decade or so in the Two-way radio and Solar PV business. I now work at VPO Organtechnology LLC building Virtual Pipe Organs see this at the http://www.organtechnology.com

Somewhere in the midst of all of that I amanaged to earn the Advanced Class and Extra Class licenses but retained my old K5VOU call. I am very interested in the digital modes and working digital DX on my Flex 3000. I will operate satellites on full duplex SDR Ground station for LEO satellites using non rotating RHCP polarization antennae for both VHF and UHF. I am a confirmed FLEX Radio user and have sold the last of my ICOM rigs to move up. Now all I need is a good antenna or two.

I use eQSL and return direct QSLs, SASE appreciated but not required. Hope to see you on the waterfall.
