I have been licensed since 1974 beginning with WN8LYM as a novice. I spent several trips back to the Detroit FCC office until I finally acquired my Extra license in 1981. I held WB8LYM,WD8BSK and the one most know me by, KB8O, which I held for 20 years. Since then I have done lots of operating and hold several awards which include #1 Honor Roll Mixed, 5DXCC, 6M VUCC, 2M VUCC, 432 VUCC as well as IOTA Honor Roll.

I do quite a bit of VHF/UHF operating/contesting, so if you work me and need a card, please send a SASE as I am now retired and can no longer support others awards. I send ALL SASE's ASAP.

I hope to hear many of you on the bands, especially on six meters. Hence the SIX in the suffix of my call. : )

If you work me on SIX for the SIX on SIX award, be sure to ask me to work you using the club call. N4SC and myself can operate using our club call of WA8SIX so be sure to ask.

Catch ya on the bands and 73 to all.
