Station in work shop

Amateur Radio Since 1 9 5 7

     

 

 

Four operating positions.

1. Kenwood TS-480, 560 ft. Delta Loop up 30 ft. ( In House primary photo) 40 meter Dipole

 

2. Stations in work shop consist of a Yaesu FT 847 used to drive a AL-572

 also a RayTrack  6 meters 1000 watts.  5 ele. on 6 M

 

3. Antenna's for HF are KT34M2 (10-15-20 M ) at 45 ft. Yaesu FT 857/ Ameritron AL-572

For 2 M Yaesu FT 450 w/SSB preamp and for some power a Henry 2002A 200 Mhz commercial

converted to 144 Mhz using the 3CPX800A7 1 KW, Ant. 2M7 7 element 2M Yagi and a 2M Halo

for general coverage 2 M - Also use a Beko HLV-1000

 

4. Yaesu FT 450 and Drake L4B  The L4B is my favorite powerhouse
