Greetings all! I am considered a late bloomer in ham radio. I first got my Technician Class license in 1996 and graduated to General Class in 2011.

My present HF station consists of a Yaesu FT-950 running 100 watts through an 80 meter loop antenna. So, if I sound a little weak, please be patient, I am trying.

My VHF/UHF station is a Standard C5900 fed through a vertical antenna. On 2 meters I have been doing net control duties for "The Right Wing Wacko's Net" in the Kansas City metro area on the146.970 repeater. This net has been going for over 17 years and we are still having fun with it. It can be heard at 9 pm local time on Sunday evenings.
