Ham Member Lookups: 2928

I became a ham in 1993. I was a technician class licensee my call was N2TAM and was only interested in vhf/uhf repeater communications back then. I was active until around 2010 when I lost interest.

I returned to ham radio after five years to find my license had lapsed, ham radio has digital options and no code for exams. I had to start over with the exams again but because I was in the electrical industry and a quick study I aced my General exam! I used the vanity option to procure my new call KB2NYC to show my pride in being a New Yorker.

I've returned to ham radio with a new found interest in HF and learning about the digital modes. I dug up my old Yaesu FT-840 from the attic where it sat in the original box for 20 years and have purchased DMR and Fusion equipment to get in on the fun.

I hope to Qso with as many hams as I can and make new friends all over the world! 73 de KB2NYC
