As a retiree I am able to move seasonally to three QTH's, Indiana, Michigan and Florida. I am able to operate from all three locations, but the Florida one is restricted. For the unrestriced locations I use home built five band Hexbeams on home built tilt over masts at about 8 meter high. For 160, 75, and 40 meters at these locations I use Mystery Antennas and a tuner. Output power is typically 600-1000W. The Michigan rig uses a Yaesu-FT-847 driving a Dentron MLA-2500 and the Indiana rig uses a Flex 3000 driving either an Ameriron ALS-600 auto bandswitched solid state linear or a Swan Mark II linear.

For Florida I am using three HamStick whips for 20, 17, and 15 meters fed in parallel. To operate on 12 and 10 meters I replace the 17 mter whip with the appropriate Ham Stick. Typical power is 350W using a yaesu FT-897D driving a Yaesu FL-2100B linear.

This picture shows my Florida antenna system.

The following picture is for Michigan. The Indiana antenna system is similar.

The picture below shows the operating position for Indiana.
