I log with N3FJP's Amateur Contact Log, and upload to QRZ, eQSL & LotW (also HRDlog and ClubLog since some have requested it). I am subscribed to recieve QSL cards via the bureau as of 28Feb15. I don't have any QSL cards (yet) so I suppose I just need a reason (ideas welcome) to make them.

I use Voice Alert (tone 100.0 on tx/rx) on 144.39 when beaconing APRS packets. This is a great way to find a QSO while traveling, I've had more QSO's thanks to Voice Alert then I ever get on 146.52. Give it a try! Don't forget APRS messaging. I'll often send them, and am happy to recieve. If I'm driving it will usually be a pre-formed message. [APRS SSIDs are listed in the gear below]

I often travel along the NYS Thruway from Rockland County to Albany/Saratoga.
While mobile I can usually be found on the N2ACF linked system (rra.net)

I'm interested in all digital modes.
FHC# 4569 - Feld Hell Club
WSC# 0695 - World SSTV Club
EPC# 25026 - European PSK Club

I also am getting into working satellites and joined AMSAT help promote amateur radio in space
AMSAT# 39607

I'm a member of OCARC in Orange County, NY. Check into our Wednesday night net via echolink node#582401 (W2TRR-R)
I participate in Orange County ARES/RACES/SKYWARN
I occasionally handle message traffic on the NTS via the SDN and/or the HVN (Eastern New York Section)
I'm a trained SKYWARN spotter

First licensed in 1997
I had a long hiatus off the air from about 1999 to about 2012 when I bought a rig (FTM-350) at the Saratoga Hamfest that brought me full swing back into the hobby.
Upgraded to General the following year in September 2013 again at the Saratoga Hamfest
Passed the Extra on March 12, 2015 with a lot of help from the WECA Extra Course.

In 2015, I started a club, N2HVS (formerly N2TUX), to help students and scouts get involved in the many aspects that Ham Radio offers.

I'm limited on space, and live in a valley of iron mountains, so creative solutions to this RF unfriendly environment are welcome.

I participated in NPOTA as an activator and a chaser.KC2ASA NPOTA Activity

You can find some details I wrote up

 on my activities here.
