I received my Novice and Technician class licenses in 1990 while stationed at Kadena AB, Japan, my General class license in 2014 and my Extra class license.

My introduction to amateur radio came while a member of the Hampton Roads Red Cross First-Aid Team, where we had several hams on the team.

 

I retired from the Air Force after 20 years in the Communication-Computer Systems Operations (491x1/3C0x1) AFSC. For 5 years I was an instructor where I taught everything from basic electronics to operating systems and hardware/software support.

Currently I work for the Navy-Marine Corp Internet (NMCI) Service Desk.
