Hello, and thanks for stopping by. I'm assuming at this point we've either had a QSO, or you've seen/heard my call along the bands. Here's a bit of info about me.

  • Digi modes are run via a Apple Mac Mini
  • Bakcup HF Rig is a TenTec Jupiter with all the bells and whistles installed.
    • Digi modes are run via a Donner Digital Interface
  • Eagle One Vertical with 40 radials

APRS iGate Setup:

  • Baoefeng UV-5R

  • Open Tracker USB

  • DvMega on a RaspberryPi 3
    • Utilizing dStar Commander
    • Monitoring data usage w/ BandwidthD via a NGINX Web server

  • Apple OS X Sierra
  • Windows 10, 7 & XP
  • Linux
  • RaspberryPi (Yes I know it’s Linux, but listing it separate)

  • Making an automate cat feeder so I don't have to get up early

  • Solar Mobile Setup for Scouting
    • Complete seutp of an IC-7000, LDG AT-100 Pro, 40amp hr gel cell, solar charger, Alpha Antenna Portable Vertical 10-80m
  • Antenna System Upgrade
    • Looking to upgrade my dipole @20' to a Eagle One Vertical with a bunch of Radials.  I've heard good things about it and I'm almost ready to pull the trigger. If everything works out I'll gather the supplies this winter and start the setup in the spring.
  • RaspberryPi
    •  If you don't know what a RaspberryPi is, it's a $40 computer that runs on minimal power, and can be configured to do almost anything. Hit me up if you have any questions on it.

 

Where you can find me....On D-Star REF030 C or REF024B and usually along the Digital Freq's 7.035 on 40m and 14.070 on 20m.
