Ham Member Lookups: 1054

I have been a Ham since July, 2013. I have since upgraded to General and looking forward to Extra. Completed my tower in the fall of 2015. Currently have a dual band Diamond X-300 on the top of the mast (top around 70ft), a Cushcraft 13B2 just below that (around 60ft), with a Yaesu G-450A to turn it. For now, I have a G5RV HF antenna up about 35ft hanging off a side mount.   I am involved with several nets acting as net control. I really enjoy running nets and I expect I'll continue to do so for many years.  I am the Vice President in the local club down here in Indianola, the Warren Amateur Radio Society.  I was appointed to  Warren County Emergency Coordinator in the fall of 2015. It has been a learning experience and I enjoy it a great deal. We are an active A.R.E.S. group and assist Warren County Emergency Management when we are needed.

My interests vary from day to day. You may find me on HF working digital modes or phone one day, and on DSTAR the next. I have recently found a Wires-X node close, so I've been on there a bit. I have come to enjoy the digital voice modes available for their simplicity and wide reach. I monitor the local repeaters here in Indianola practically 24/7.

I'll get more pictures on here in the near future.  Thanks for looking me up on QRZ.
