I have moved out of New York, and will be making Florida my home. I have removed my radio gear from NY, and am currently starting to set up my ham shack in the new place in Florida. With any luck I will be back on the air within a month. I have just updated my FCC account with my new address, so it should update here soon. 73's

I'm back on the air! The 2 meter antenna was the easiest as it was just mounted to a utility building. The HF antenna, a 6-band trapped vertical, took a while as I had to clear out a lot of growth first. But yesterday I finished tuning it and it's back in operation.
I'm a late bloomer to Ham Radio, as I finally got my Tech license in December 2014. A year later I got my General. I spent 13 years as a test technician on space flight attitude control systems. It wasn't until after I retired, that I had the time to play with radios again. I was a CBer back in the 70-80's. My primary radio is my Kenwood TS-2000 that I got in Jan of 2016. I have 2-meter rigs in my truck and camper, and I also play with a D-STAR HT, using a computer dongle, as I'm too far away from a local repeater.
My 2 meter home brew antenna.
