Station here is a Yaesu FT- 1000 200 watts on most bands (I love this radio heavy metal) , a Icom IC-7000 used on six meters , sound card modes HF and some VHF/UHF work.  I have a couple commercial Motorola ASTROS's XTL-1500 base vhf/uhf radios for ham bands. I have a Diamond X-50 vert @ 60 ft.  3 Milcom discone type antennas, milcom ground planes ect. I do a lot of utililty dxing on the HF/VHF/UHF Aircraft/ Milcom bands, I have a Icom R-2, two Uniden BC 780xlt, Pro 96,Pro 97 and a pro-2052 scanners. Also have a Motorola P-25/ XTS-5000 XTS2500 800 Mhz P-25 / XTS -3000 vhf P-25 for ham, EF Johnson 51SL 5100 Motorola Astro XTS5000 UHF P25 Portable  and supports 70 cm ham and public safety scanning. Dx engineering model  EADELTA7B 7 band rotatable delta loop @ 20 feet fed with 7/8 hard line.  Also we have a ground mounted Mosley RV-4C 40 thru 10 with 25 radials hard line fed.. A 160 meter OCFD with LL line & 4:1 balun I use on other bands also. I also have a (G0FAH) 5 band wire antenna fed with 450 ohm LL line. I am also the SKYWARN asst EC for Pender CO NC woking out of the NWS OFFICE IN WILMINGTON NC. in support of our local VHF ILM Skywarn program. Also I'm a supporter of NC/Pender CO ARES.Hampstead Ham club member. I enjoy rig chewing and a little dxing on the side. My bands are(160/60/40 winter bands) , 17,15,12 10 and 6 meters I check first all the time ! I also enjoy the soundcard modes I run FLDG sofware using my I IC-7000, I do enjoy RTTY also. I use to work at the NC State Ports as a security technology specialist. Working on access control gear and the com officer for the police department. (Retired 2012 .) New info : NOAA/NWS chat program is now fully operational. We use It for direct coms to the WCM or for the duty forecaster . We helped some years back with the bata testing of the NWS radio chat tool program. The program is now used in support of the NWS Skywarn program, along with EM's and met personal @ TV/RADIO media outlets.This program not open for public use, for offical use only.(https://nwschat.weather.gov/)
