Check out my web page @ kd7aat.net for all of the projects I am involved in.......

I got my tech license in 1996 and my general in 2013.  Find me on HF phone all over the bands, JT65, PSK31, DSTAR 12A or 29A.  I also use Echolink and IRLP.  I like pulling weather pictures from the NOAA birds, trading SSTV pics and grabbing them from ISS and working the SSB and FM sats.  I'm always trying something new be it antennas, audio connections or modes.  Ham Radio Deluxe is a great program that I use to control my Icom 9100 and auto control for satellites.  More to come........

ICOM 9100---ICOM 7100---HEIL DESK MIC WITH FOOT SWITCH---SHURE STUDIO MIC---MFJ VERSA TUNER V---ICOM IC-2KL AMPLIFIER---ASTRON RS 35A POWER SUPPLY---WeSaCom APT-06 WEATHER SATELLITE RECEIVER---CHANNEL MASTER IR CONTROL DIGITAL ROTOR---RADIO SHACK TRIPLE TRUNKING SCANNER---YAMAHA MG102c 8 CHANNEL AUDIO MIXER---NANO-NODE IRLP/ECHO---DSTAR DVAP DONGLE---ICOM ID-51A PLUS HT---ICOM IC-T70A HT and I'm sure there will be more......

UPDATE.....

Now playing with the Raspberry Pi stuff and got that setup totally headless.  Rasp 3B, battery pack and with my DVAP dongle and Dstar Commander on the Pi I'm headless and control the Pi with either my ID-51, 7100 or a couple of apps on my Smart Phone.  It works great!!!.  Also got a DV Mega for one of my Pi's so no more moving the dongle from computer to Pi.  Plug it in and it's good to go.

UPDATE.......

Made a small vacation out of going up to Portland to HRO and got an ICOM 7100.  Great radio and easy to setup using the RT Systems software and cable.  The radio box fits behind the fold down back seats in my Toyota Tundra and the control head mounted on a piece of covered wood sits on the center console.  Unplug the control cable and take the head out of sight out of mind.  With my mobile RasPi Dstar setup and IRLP nano node using commands I put in the radio it's going to work great.....

Update.........The Icom 7000 in the picture is no longer in the shack.  New happy owner K7EHT Mike....
