Ham Member Lookups: 351

I have been into radio as a hobby ever since I got my first scanner, a Bearcat BC100, at around 8 years old. I was always trying to find something other than the police and fire to pickup. With a Police Call book in hand and learning how to use the limit search I quickly found out about ham radio. I have always had a scanner since then even a few crystal scanners.

Eventually I got my ham license and still to this day I still enjoy monitoring more than I do talking.

I am intrigued by new things and have become entangled with digital voice and thouroughly enjoy my Icom IC-2820H and ID-51A+ along side the 2-meter Digital Voice Access Point (DVAP) I use with it. I spend most of the time monitoring the busiest reflectors (1C, 12A, 14C, and 30C Reflectors). If you see me sitting in the remote users please hollar at me. When I am not using the DVAP I am monitoring W7MOT in Phoenix which resides at Ref 9C.

Most recently I have become involved in DMR/MotoTRBO and have aquired a Motorola XPR4550 after visiting the DMR-MARC webpage and reading probably every page they have. I always have the Arizona Local, North America, Worldwide, and Southwest 3176 talkgroups on scan. Recently became the owner of a RFShark OpenSPOT to compliment my DMR setup.
