I am KF7SRB, but you already knew that otherwise you would not be here! Hi HI.

I have always had an interest in Amateur radio. I can even remember my fathers call sign from the CB days of the 1970's (KCI6966). My Dad had an old base system with SWR meter from Realistic and an antenna that was 25 foot above the roof of our 2 story house in Sharon Pennsylvania. When we left PA and moved to Arizona I remember listening to the CB as we came across the country. I was fascinated by the sound of it, even the static at that young age was music to me.

My interest, however, in Ham radio was put to the side as other interests in my young life took a more important role. Morse code requirements also kept me from obtaining my license. I just could not seem to get the hang of it. Then came my family and work related problems, financial responsibilities. as well as schooling. I finally had some time in 2011 to look into the hobby again.

I studied for the Tech ticket and passed in November 2011. The rest is history.

Now I can be found monitoring 2m/440 on most days, hanging around the local repeaters and listening on 146.520, or on the 10m when the propagation is good. I am trying to learn Morse code and how to operate on packet radio. I have met many wonderful people on the radio, and know I will meet many more as I progress.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my page. I hope to have many more QSO's qith those in my log and those I have not met yet.

73, and have a great time!
