Thanks for dropping by my QRZ page!

My name is Mike. QTH is in northern Louisiana. I got my technician license November 2016 and soon after, my general license. I enjoyed myself so much, I got my Extra Class early the following year. You can find me on 2m FM and SSB locally. I do monitor D-Star REF048B and keep that running regularly. You can occasionally catch me on HF phone but if you are here, you probably heard me on JT65, FT8, JT9, or RTTY.

My VHF station consists of a Icom 7100. That radio is paired with a homebrew 2m 1.2kW amplifier and a 2x13 2m yagi array at 45ft. The HF side includes a Flex1500 SDR operating QRP, most of the time, in all digital modes. I run a SDRplay in the background as a station monitor and aux receiver. My HF antennas are always changing but I am typically active on 12m, 15m, 17m, 20m, 40m, and 80m.

Glad to make the contact! 73s!
