I waited a long time to get into this terrific hobby!

In the process of building my shack... in reality, does an operator ever really finish this process? :-)

Just passed the Amatuer Extra exam on July 8th, 2017.

Also have the GMRS license, which has its place around the ranch and at the campground.

I have a Kenwood TS-2000 at the QTH sitting under a Diamond X300, an M2 Yagi, and a Maple Leaf Studios OCF dipole.

Mobile rig is a Kenwood TM-V71 sitting under a Diamond mag mount.

Also have an Yaesu FT-991A and two additional Icom mobile radios for various applications, like in my travel trailer and at the ranch where I hunt, field day, etc.

Like working digital modes as well as SSB phone and just getting into weak signal.

I am an ARRL member and belong to the Medina County Amatuer Radio Club, the Alamo Area Radio Organization, and the Hamster Group.

I upload contacts to eQSL regularly and am trying to get LoTW up and running.
