Howdy,

I have been a Delaware resident most of my life. Born in Wilmington in the mid 50's, and spent a short stint over the PA line in Avondale PA before I got married. After we got married, we lived in Wilmington on the west side for about 10 years and then moved to Bear in 1987 where we currently live. I am married with 2 grown daughters and 2 grandchildren. I currently work for DuPont, as a training coordinator at the Chambers Works plant in Deepwater, NJ. I've been with DuPont 39 years as of this writing. We have a Pug, and a bird (Cockatiel), so it's never dull (or quiet) around our house.

I have worked several part time jobs over the years including webmaster for some commercial sites and also a stint at HRO Delaware. Besides ham radio I do a little bit of fishing (mostly salt water while at our beach place in Lewes) and like to spend time at the beach in the summer months along with my interest in computers, about every type and configuration.

Gear always changes at my shack, anything from some of the latest gear to older stuff. Whatever catches my fancy, or I'm in the mood to play with. I'm more into CW than about any other mode, but I've played with about everything from SSB, to digital, to VHF and D-Star. I normally try and monitor the calling frequencies on 2 meter FM, some local UHF frequencies along with some 6 meter and 10 meter SSB from time to time. Antennas range from verticals to wire antennas, power from 10 watts or so up to the limit.

I belong to the 3.990 Rooster club along with the Flying Pigs group,

I buy and sell some gear at times, if I find something interesting and at a good price I'm normally game. I enjoy all aspects of the hobby, including a bit of DX and contesting from time to time, but nothing terribly serious. Most times just enjoy a great ragchew on the air mostly on CW but some SSB every now and then.

Thanks for your interest, and hope to work you on the air sometime, take care.

73,
