Dave Condon, KI7YP, is a director of K7LWH--The LAKE WASHINGTON HAM CLUB. The LWHC is located in Kirkland, Washington and it's members are mostly age 9-12. The address is: Lake Washington Ham Club, PO Box 2432, Kirkland, WA 98083. The LWHC since about 1993 has licensed approximately 1100 students, parents, and teachers. The goal of the club is to help young people develop an interest in amateur radio. For the 2007-2008 school year 132 4th graders and parents passed the technician class license. The program is sponsored in part by ICOM of America, Alinco USA, the ARRL, and Diamond Antennas. 

The kids can be talked to on the K7LWH Repeater...145.490 (-offset) and tone of 103.5. It is located on Rose Hill at about 620 feet. The repeater coverage is most of the Seattle area. The IRLP node is 3978. The LWHC webpage is lakewashingtonhamclub.org

KIDS NET operates Sunday nights during the school year at 8:15PM (pst) and can be reach locally through the repeater or IRLP Reflector Node 9255.

The kids can been seen on the Bill Nye Science Guy Show, the episode that deals with "waves." Also, the class can be seen in volume #2, #3, #4, #5 and #6 of the "Adventures of Zack and Max" at the ICOM website.
