Hi to fellow Amateur Radio Enthusiasts. I trust you are all enjoying this hobby as much as I am. I began studying for my license in December of 2011. My primary base radio is an  ICOM-7200 hooked to an 160 meter full wave horizontal loop antenna.  I also do a lot of QRP with a Yaesu 817 all band QRP 5 watt. It has been a great joy to work CW just recently, the 5 watt HF 817 reaches out much further using CW and the experienced code users are very patient and helpful with a club-fingered new CW user like me.

If you like CW, please don't miss the CW Sunrise Net every morning 1300 Z on 7.123 MHz. They are a great group of hams and they will welcome your participation.  I also monitor local N. Atlanta repeaters 145.470, 146.805, 146.880, 145.270 145.430. I belong to the Cherokee County Amateur Radio Club and the Cherokee ARES group....... .what a great group of volunteers. Make it a great day! Bruce KK4GEE
