Hello ~ I live in Bonita; near South bay of San Diego, California.

This is my Shack               &                       " Here's Johnny "

 ICOM 7300                                                 ICOM 7100

If I had only one radio I would have my ICOM 7100

ANTENNA's

Daylight hour Anttena is a Home-Brew Hex-Beam 6 Bands

First location  of hexbeam bolted to the stone fence post

My vista's off to the South East are panoramic and wonderful for ham radio

I rule the airwaves from this vantage point now don't ya know ?

This picture doesn't show the new 40' Wilson tower seen in the video above

I am a happy man after a good days work with friends getting the base for my tower finished.

Putting uP 40' Wilson Tower AND LOCATING HEXBEAM FOR BETTER XMISSIONS

Many Ham Friends came to help me put my hexbeam on a 40' Wilson Tower

September 2017

My Wilson 40' tower comes down and uP with ease:

November 2017

But needed a 90 degree slewing solution to work on the hexbeam

Solution was to make what I call my "TrippLock" 90 degree Mechanism

You can see in the picture above if I had to work on the hexbeam without a 90 degree tilt over I risk breaking it.

Also without the TrippLock to service the 20' wingspan would be very difficault.

See below how easy the TrippLock makes for easy accessablility.

My TrippLock works so fine

November 2017

You can see how the hexbeam can be worked on at ground leavel with ease.

It is good to have friends help when doing antenna projects

I sure have fun with my friends in the ham community

REMOTE CONTROL is how I ROLL

I Love the freedom of Remoting into my radios via the RS-BA1 software

I enjoy using the ICOM Remote Software to controll both my ICOM Radio's at home or away:

You see me here with my little Purple-Urple laptop and headphones running my radios

My ICOM 7300 and ICOM 7100 work like a charm with the software

Going for coffee or tending to other duties while in a round table becomes a pleasure:

RS-BA1 software from ICOM

The 2 images above show the essense of the RS-BA1 layout for controling my radios from in the house or on a trip.

My ICOM radio user Friends all have access to each others stations for remote viewing and radio control.

This multipul radio setup on many remote ham anttena stations makes for much enjoyment in the hobby.
