HF radio is a Yaesu FT DX 1200. I use it with a Buckmaster OCF dipole hanging from a tree at about 35 feet.
VHF/UHF radio is a Yaesu FTM-400DR FM/C4FM Fusion digital, and I use a DVAP with an Icom ID-31A handheld for DSTAR. I use a Yaesu FTM-100DR for a WIRES-X node radio, and a Yaesu FT1XDR HT to talk on WIRES-X. I use a Motorola Astro Saber III and a DV4 Mini for P-25 digital, and a TYT MD-390 and a Shark RF Open Spot for DMR.
I usually monitor DSTAR reflector 66D, WIRES-X room 28427, P-25 PCS002 module 10, and DMR Brandmaster 3100.
9/03/16: Below is a picture of my Motorola Astro Saber III next to my Icom ID-31A.
6/28/14: Below is a picture of what kept making a racket crashing onto my roof. It took me about a month to figure it out, and I always carry my Canon ELPH 330HS (it has a great zoom) on my belt, so I got a great picture! Woe to any roof rat or bird that gets on my roof.
My first time on the air, with Mom, Dad, and Uncle:
