A little about me...

I first got intersted in Ham Radio when I met my husband, KW4XR.  I really enjoyed listening to him make contacts all over the world.  I found it to be so amazing to be able to talk from home to all the different people all over the world.  At first I wanted to get my Ham license to make him happy but once I began to learn more about it the more I wanted to be able to do it myself. So I began to study with a lot of help from him this Labor Day weekend 2017 I passed my Tech. test at the Shelby, Nc Hamfest.  I wanted to get my ticket at Shelby cause that was my very first Hamfest that he took me to in 2016. Now it is time to get started on studying for my General.  It may take me a little while to get there but I will make it.

For right now my radios include the Icom IC-92AD D-Star HT and the XUNERS KT8900 (Dual Band) in my mobile.  I hope to talk to many of you on the air.  You can find me in the evenings monitoring REF030 C on D-Star or on some of my local repeaters during the day.  I hope that many more ladies get the bug like I did and get their tickets too.  If you would like to chat I monitor REF030C on D-Star or you can contact me direct at CCS7 (113)7831 D-Star or you can send me a message on AX.25 Packet email @ KN4FQW@W4BFB.#CLT.NC.USANOAM              Hope to talk to you soon! 73
