Amateur radio starting in 1955 in High School.  Since then I have held various call signs.  After high school, I enlisted in the US Navy.  In the Navy I was an ADR2 just before getting out in 1962.  I started working in maintenance for Trans World Airlines (TWA) in 1962 at Dulles International Airport, Washington,  D.C.   I transferred from DIA to Pittsburgh (PIT) in 1963.  In November 1968 I transferred to Stapleton International Airport in Denver, Colorado.  I opened up a new airport DIA (Denver International Airport) before retiring in 1995 from the airlines.

During all these years I have enjoyed many aspects of Ham and Commercial Radio.  I currently hold Volunteer Examiner  both commercial and ham radio.  For many years I have been an extra class licensee, and of course, life time for the commercial license.  I still hold an Air Frame and Power plant Mechanic License.

Hobbies, I like to fish, hunt, hike, camp and in general be in the great outdoors.  Our children are grown, and my wife and I have traveled the world together.  (She, by the way is KD0LLR).  We are enjoying our grandsons and have been known to encourage them to follow their pap pap into Ham radio and sports.
