I am originally from Grangeville, Idaho and after a 20 year career with the US Navy I am now living in Valrico, Florida near Tampa. I am a fairly new Ham (2012) with my first call sign. I changed from KK4ULD to KW4MB when I passed the Extra exam in Auguest 2015. I now retired and don't miss going to work everyday one bit. My rig is an ICOM IC-756 Pro with a Windom OCF antenna up in the back yard about 30 feet, and a Heathkit SB-1000 amp between them. I recently received my WAS award with a 20m endorsement and have completed my DXCC requirements. If I had known Ham Radio was so much fun I would have studied for my license years ago.

I worked at ITT Technical Institute in Tampa for 26 years after retiring fromm the Navy as an Electronics Technician CPO. Duty stations where I served include NAS Memphis, NSGA Adak, SSC Great Lakes, NCS Greece, USS Utina AFT 163, USS Chukawan AO 100, and USS Sylvania AFS-2 and went to book camp in San Diego after graduating from high school.

I will answer all QSOs and I use Log book of the World.
