I use my middle name : Aaron.      *** I just passed my Extra Class exam! :-) ***

I've just started trying out the digital modes. Wow! FT8 is pretty amazing.

Rig is a FT-857D, as pictured. Latest antenna is a fan dipole for 20m and 40m.

I've operated in various locations, including northeastern Kansas (Wamego) and northern Idaho (Post Falls). I also hold the callsign ZL2JAC since I lived in New Zealand for a few years. I was first licensed as KB0PGJ when I was 14 and in high school (18th of October, 1994) as a no-code Tech. It was on June 21st, 2006 that my brother (KD7WWS) and I drove together to pass the General Class exam side by side - back when there was still a code requirement ;-). In 2017 I'm back on the air after several years of being too busy for ham radio.
