Look for me on all 160 > 2m bands SSB and Digital modes (FT8, JT65, RTTY) for DX and contests.  I was first licensed K3JEB in 1959, then inactive many years.  Relicensed KZ1W 1984, operated MM offshore sailing and very little from Massachusetts and Silicon Valley QTHs. Chasing DX since 2012 after moving to Redmond, WA and building a shop and station.  DXCC 290 confirmed.

       TF/KZ1W/MM during circumnavigation of Iceland in 2009.

PRIMARY STATION: Icom 756 Pro III, SPE 2K-FA amp.  Secondary 756 Pro III, THP HL-1.5KFX w tuner

ANTENNAS:

142 ft Rohn 65 with 2L 80m @ 156', 3L 40m @ 140', 5 over 5 OWA monobanders on 20, 15 & 10m.  The 3L & 5L were scratch built by K7ZSD to 110+ mph designs.  The 80m 2L is by JKantennas. The R65 is double guyed with 25k# Phillystran  A K7NV prop pitch turns the mast and seven K0XG rings move all other antennas independently.

Right HDX589 I built the W6NL design 40m Moxon @ 91'    86' 80m Rotatable dipole. I modified a EF180C @ 102', Tornado tuned

The steel building is the shack plus a full metalworking shop, CNC mills, lathes, welding, etc. Hobby only.

160m 85' T loaded vertical behind the shop hung in the trees with 8 elevated 120' radials.    4 sq active receive  160 - 40m way back on the 5 acre lot.

Cushcraft A4S on a 42' Will-Burt pneumatic mast for portable ops and Field Day.
