I was active as S79J from AF-024, Mahe island, Seychelles, 4-9 May 2017.

WFF > LZFF-028, LZFF-056, LZFF-066. Activated on 10 till 17 august 2011, together with Laci HA0HW and Tomi HA4DX (LZ1PJ/p, LZ/HA0HW, LZ/HA4DX). Strandja National Park LZFF-028 was our base camp. We made one trip to Tisovitsa Nature Reserve LZFF-066 (I did not operate there) and two trips to Ropotamo Nature Reserve LZFF-056 (also valid for LZ Rivers Award, LZR-045 - Ropotamo river). Operation took place on 40-30-20-17m bands, mainly CW with some SSB. Activation of LZFF-066 was least successfull due to power supply problems. We also could not accomplish the planned IOTA operation from Sveti Ivan island, EU-181, due weather conditions not favourable. With a holiday style operation, we made 3000+ contacts.

WFF > LZFF-002 I was active from National park Pirin, 20-28 nov 2010, as LZ1PJ/1 (LZ1PJ during LZDX and CQWW contests). I made about 1500 contacts, holiday style, CW only, on 30-40-20-15m bands.

*****

I was born on april 29-th, 1964 in Pernik, Bulgaria. This is an industrial town situated about 30 km SW from Sofia. My first meeting with ham radio was when I was a little child in 1970. This happened in the local radio club in the small town Bobov dol, where I lived temporary. The club station was LZ1KVF. My first steps were to learn morse code, and to start participating in indoor High Speed Telegraphy competitions. Very soon the first successes came: In 1976 I took 1-st place in the National Championship. Next years competing became my destiny, hi. Together with this I was very keen in CW HF operation. During the years I was member of several local radio clubs: LZ1KDW,LZ1KTU - Pernik, LZ1KPG,LZ1KSF,LZ1KAB,LZ1KDP,LZ1KAG,LZ1BFR - Sofia, LZ1KBR - Breznik and others.
