Welcome to my QRZ.com page. I have been licenced and participating in Amateur Radio since 2010.

The photo shows my 1982 Kenwood TS-530S, complete with ATU and External Speaker.

Main Radio is FlexRadio 5000A SDR fitted RX2 / ATU, feeding an 80m Doublet, 110ft (33.5m) in length running North-South at approx. 33ft (10m) maximum height.

I also use a loft-mounted Sirio Vertical for 2m/70cm.

Here is the front and rear of my QSL Card, showing a classic 'Olde' English harbour-side Pub in the small village of Langstone on Hayling Island, approximately 4km from my QTH.

The sketch on the rear of the QSL Card shows Langstone Mill how it was in 1869.  It is now a private residence.

Some equipment constructed to date is shown below.

CW Keyer based on Kanga Keyer using K1EL K16 IC, built into a Chinese enclosure with my own layout on the panels.  Rechargable using 3 x 1/2-size AA 3.6V Li-ion batteries in series.

CW Touchkey built from a kit into my own enclosure using two brass front door keys as the touch paddles.

Oak Hills Research WM-2 QRP Wattmeter built from a kit, bought from the USA.

Emtech ZM-2 QRP ATU built from a kit, bought from the USA.

I am a member of the RSGB, the ARRL and also a FISTS CW Club Member - 15874
