  • Building Built a transverter (OZ2M), PA (Pye FX5000 conversion), sequencer (Logic) and AF monitor for 4Mtrs.
  • Experimenting with ax.25 - specifically APRS. Terrestrial:144.800 and ISS:145.825.
  • Monitoring our local 70cm repeater, GB3ME and 70.450MHz FM.
  • Messing about with 2Mtr antennas.
  • Playing with data modes on HF.

Have experimented with various solutions. On the rack right now:

M0IJS-1 Aprx 2.02.svn438 on a TP-Link WR1043ND.  Previously Aprx 2.02.svn438 on a Linksys WRT54.

Rx iGate also serving a object beacon for our local repeater, GB3ME.

M0IJS-3 or G3BXF-1 Aprx-2.05.svn485 on Raspbian using a Raspberry Pi.

Ironically and unintentionally built into a Pye 4000 chassis. Talking to a Philips FM1100 radio.  In a Philips PRX chassis.

Check out Phil M0DNY's scripts for generating beacons containing compressed position data from a GPS source.

This APRS digipeater is now deployed at the RATS clubhouse.

Using Aprx-2.08.svn556 on a Raspberry Pi.

Sending it's own beacon, one for GB3ME too, some telemetry and digipeating anything within 30KM.

M0IJS-4: Trying out some ideas for a satellite gateway.
Raspberry Pi B+  + DS1307 RTC
