WELCOME to my QRZ page And for looking my call sign up

It is A year on 10 / 11 / 2011 that i got my Call Sign ( M6CTI ) in my first year on Amateur Radio i havemadeLoad,s ofNice QSO,s and made many new freinds around the world. i did not in all my dreams think i could or would make some of the contacts i have made with just my 10w power limmit. in my first year i have spent a lot of my time mainly on the HF Band,sHunting DX stations. Bands i have found my self useing most are 20m17m15m12m 10m 6m depending on the conditions. i have also used 40m some evening,s to make a few contacts around the UK and EU..

I Have used 2m & 70cm mainly for local chat and also when out mobile.

Most Recently i have set up and started useing EchoLink from time to time, I can use Echolink in one of three ways. Thefirst is throughA Yaesu FT7800 from my Shack or when i go out Mobile. My second method of use is Through my Iphone 3gs. and my final method is Through my Computer System in my Shack this is handy as it free,s up my radios to monitor other parts of the band.

I Help to RunThree Facebook Groups as an Admin.

My Shack has not Changed a great deal and i am still useing the following radios for now

My Tranceiver i usefor working The HF Bandsisthe Kenwood TS-480HX this is connected toan SGC Mac-200 smart tuner with a Horizontal Deltaloop and a Solarcon A99 Vertical antenna connected. The Delta loop covers from 80m to 10m The Solarcon A99 i always use on 10m and 12m as it works realy well All my Contacts have been made with these antennas.

I also have a Verry Nice Yaesu FT-847 EarthStation that is use for 2m and 70cm and monitoring Amateur radio satalites. i intend to work the amateur satalites when i build an antenna. i have the parts to build it but i have not got around to building the Antenna. i intend to build an Arrow type antenna.

For Mobile i use is my Yaesu FT-7800 Dual Band FM Tranceiver this i use with a Diamond MR77 antenna.

For Field use i use My Yaesu FT-847 and a Yaesu FC-707 manual antenna Tuner thisan old tuner but it works verry well. field Antennas iuse are Home built they areAMagnetic long wire Antenna. andalso a 10m vertical that uses the same magnetic 9.1 unun as my long wire this works realy well.
