My Shack Buddy she was 14 years old on 20/09/13 She Passed away on 27/01/14

A True and Faithful Friend

R.I.P Heidi

Hi and thanks for visiting my page i passed my Advanced License on 15/10/11 my working conditions are Transcievers :Icom 7100 and an Icom 2820 for Dstar and Vhf/UHF,an Icom E51 Plus Handheld with an Heil HTH Headset.

I use my Icom E51 Plus on Dstar when I am Mobile which is connected through my DV Mega unit on 430Mhz and it runs the Internet from my Mobile Phone,I would like to have Hf in the truck but it is not possible so the Icom E51 plus is a good alternative because it allows me to communicate with other Dstar stations all over the world and passes the time when I am driving all over Scotland and it allows me to DO MY DAY JOB,PLAY RADIO,GET PAID FOR IT AND ENJOY MY HOBBY and I am communicating and as I see it Amateur Radio is all about Communicating in which ever shape or form you use to do it within Amateur Radio.

Here is the Qsl i Send when i get contacts from my home Qth which is one of the well known Scottish Landmarks The Forth Road Bridge which is about 15Kms from my home Qth.

I am a Lorry Driver and i travel all over Scotland and the truck you can see the photo's Above is where i operate from Mobile , i started on 11Meters in the late 1970's and always preferred the DX contacts and did nothing more until 2009 when decided to move over to Amateur Radio i sat my Foundation License in August 2009 and then sat my Intermediate License in May 2011,So if you have a Qso with me when i am Mobile below is the Qsl card i will be sending  for all my Qso's i get when i am Operating Mobile i hope you like the card.

I would Appreciate anyone requiring any of my Qsl cards to send Green Stamps $ as i send Green Stamps World wide to Recieve Qsl cards and by the time i buy Qsl cards and postage for sending Qsl cards it can be quite costly.

This is my New Truck as of October 2016

So if you happen to hear me on the Bands either from my Mobile Station or from my Home Qth which is about 14 Miles North West of Edinburgh the Capital City of Scotland you can always give me a call.
